Recap Basics

Okay, people, welcome to the new blog! This is a blog by a college student for people who enjoy watching TV and movies as much as I do! Hopefully, I can gain a pretty nifty following through this blog but we'll see.

Now, I know the question that is on all of your minds : what will be happening on this blog? Well, wait no longer. Here is the lowdown that you need to know.

On this blog, I will be recapping TV shows and movies that I have recently seen. There are several shows that I watch religiously and these will be the ones that I recap. Any new movie that I watch I will also recap. Expect these recaps to be funny, accurate and informative. If you missed last night's episode (and it won't be on Hulu for 8 days, thank you Fox) and want to know what happened, look no further. Or if you did see last night's episode and just want to join in on discussing it, I invite you to do that in the comments.

So here is the list of TV shows I will be recapping:

• Last Man Standing (LMS) with Tim Allen and Nancy Travis. This show airs on ABC at 8 on Tuesday nights.
• New Girl (NG), starring Zooey Deschanel. This show airs on Fox at 9 on Tuesday nights.
• Terra Nova (TN), starring Jason O'Mara, Shelley Conn, Stephen Lang and a host of other fantastic actors. This show airs on Fox at 8 on Monday nights.
• Once Upon a Time (OUT), starring Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin, Joshua Dallas, Lana Parrilla and a number of other outstanding actors and actresses. This show airs on ABC at 8 on Sunday nights.
• The Vampire Diaries (TVD), starring Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Steven R. McQueen, Candice Accola and a very stellar cast around them. This show airs on the CW at 8 on Thursday nights.

These are the main shows I will be recapping. Sometimes, I watch Grey's Anatomy, and you might get a GA recap then. Right now, I'm going to start with the episodes that aired the week of October 23rd and will go back to recap earlier episodes later.

Each blog title will be titled with the acronym of the show being recapped and a short description of the episode. For example, last week's Vampire Diaries might have been titled TVD - Ghostly Touchy-Feely. Or something a lot cooler than that. We'll see. So look for the acronym to determine what show I have recapped.
